The Prodigy Open-Air Concert in Zadar

Provocative. Raw. Obnoxious. Defiant. Innovative. Geniuses. Yes, just read the first letters and there you have it: the Prodigy. The British electro-punk trio are coming to Zadar and they’re gonna make the city dance, and fully wrap it in spectacular sound and effects. Whether you are a true fan and already have your ticket safely stored or are still just thinking about it, it may turn out to be the concert of the summer. The one not to be missed. The one that gives you a real good reason to visit Zadar (again), in case you haven’t already pin it on your map for the summer.

Start the fire at Jazine Open Air 2016 

Following the footsteps of other giants like Manu Chao, Lenny Kravitz and Santana, the Prodigy are going to bring some exciting music to Zadar, or to be more precise to the parking lot of the Jazine sports hall. The concert is going to be held on July 1 and what a way it is to truly step into the summer. Just as the sun sets and colours the evening sky with those fabulous shades of orange and blue, the Prodigy are going to start their one-of-a-kind show that won’t leave anyone indifferent. After all, nothing really beats listening to great music under the starry summer sky.

Nasty… Godfathers of Rave 

For almost a quarter of a century, the Prodigy trio have been defying the world of music and enriching it with their own at the same time. They sprang from the underground rave scene and it’s where they’re comfortable. Even though they’ve achieved worldwide fame, they don’t seem to care for the mumbo jumbos of the modern popular music. Over the years they’ve played with a variety of music styles, from rave, techno, breakbeat, electronic rock to punk elements, which just matches the way they are - rebels forever.

The Day is My Enemy 

Pioneers in their own right, just like Sex Pistols once were, they keep pushing forward and not just sit back comfortably enjoying the fruit of their previous work. In fact they’re pissed with the current dance scene, with artists who play it safe and stick to good old what-works recipes. And where is the spontaneity, the excitement, the danger? Why, it’s on the Prodigy’s newest album. It’s fierce, loud and it’ll make you dance the night away with the desire for it never to end. Not to mention the fact that the whole show production is going to be jaw-dropping.

Can there be a better way to slide into summer mode than by witnessing a major concert out in the open? Nope. You don’t even have to be a Prodigy fan(atic) to want to witness one of the world’s best dance acts. Ever.
